Date: Dec 01, 2008 08:56 Visible to: Public - Everyone Someone recently asked me about the courage it takes to create a cardboard box musical instrument and set up a booth at the 2008 Summer NAMM show. I think "courage" is a bigger word than the bass reflects. I'm just a lucky guy that made a bass because i needed it for a song i wrote. i never completed or recorded the song because once i made the box bass, i posted a video of it on the web and people started to ask me how to get one... I have a cousin that's an Acoustic Engineer for a Detroit Auto Manufacturer, his brother is an Electronic Engineer, also I have an uncle that owns and opperates a printing shop and has an incredible collection of power tools, machines, proto-type stuff, and a building.Imagine this, a guy makes a sound-making-creation, and he has the neccessary family members to perfect it(?).
