Feature Instructions
My Contacts
Add someone as your contact via the ACTION ITEMS menu and you can see their thumbnail, Bookmarked items and messages, among other things. If they have also made you their contact, then their thumbnail will appear outlined in red.
 
My Bookmarks
You may add to your Bookmarks links to great content on the net you wish to save for your reference or that you wish to share with contacts. You may also add Bookmarks to other members' Bookmarks or Blog entries. You can at any time Bookmark up to 100 items for FREE. All of your Bookmarked items are displayed on your Bookmarks page. You may view other member's Bookmarks from their profile page. You have the option of making your Bookmarks private OR public. Whenever you view your Bookmarks, you will see a 'minus' sign. If clicked, the item will be deleted from your Bookmarks. When viewing another member's Bookmarks or Blog entries, you will see a 'plus' sign. If clicked, the item will be added to your Bookmarks.
 
My Contacts' Bookmarks
This section displays your contacts Bookmarked items if they have made their Bookmarks visible to all. This way you can share your Bookmarked items with your contacts. You can even add your contacts Bookmarked items to your Bookmarks.
 
Public Bookmarks
This section displays all the Bookmarked items if you have made your Bookmarks visible to all. This way you can share your Bookmarked items with everybody.
 
My Photo albums
Photo icons are used only to associate a picture with a comment, message or blog entry. Photo albums have many additional features such as allowing contacts to post comments about each image.
 
My Reviews
This section displays all your reviews written by your contacts and fellow members. The reviews show up only when someone has posted comments and you have approved them. You may respond to comment with your reply for each of the individual comment.
 
Top 8 Contacts
This section displays the contacts who are in the Top 8 Contacts Classified. You can make this contacts classified via the "edit top 8" link.
 
Browse All Profiles
Display Format: You have the option to select the display format. Selecting "Full Profile", displays all the profiles with photos. "Photos Only" option displays only photos.
Only show profiles: Select 'With Photos' if you want to see profiles which have photos with them. By checking 'With Recent Activity' you are further filtering down the search to display only profiles having recent activities.
People who are: This option lets you select profiles of specific gender.
Interested In Meeting People for: Select from these options if you like to see profiles with that choice.
Age: You can enter the age limit of the people you want to see.
Status: You can select from these people who are Single/In a relationship/Married etc.
Location: You can even search for people who are a few miles away from your zip code.
 
My Threads
'My Threads' is a personalized central message board which lets you follow in one location all the threads you have participated in. Additionally, it displays all the threads from your Blog and personal message board discussions.
 
Degrees of separation
This section displays your connections with a person whose profile you are viewing. You may be connected to the person directly or through your reciprocating contact who is a reciprocating contact of your contact. Connections will only get displayed if you are connected to the person within three degrees of separation.

For e.g. the connection could be:
You => Your reciprocating contact
You => Your reciprocating contact => Their reciprocating contact => Their reciprocating contact

 
Reciprocating contacts
Reciprocating contacts are individuals who have mutually selected each other as their contacts. (You have selected them as a contact and they have selected you as a contact.) With reciprocating contacts, you gain access to a host of special features, including e-cards, birthday reminders and more.
 
Custom Classifieds
Custom Classifieds allow you to create classifieds containing various groupings of your contacts. You can use these classifieds to only allow certain contacts to view a specific Blog entry or to invite certain contacts to attend an event or to join a group.
 
Blog Archive Groups
Blog Archive Groups are the group which can be used to associate a group of Blogs. The Blogs can be associated to a group during the Blog entry.
 
Admin Blogs
Admin Blog allows you to make your Blogs to be displayed in the blog you selected
 
Upcoming Events Near Me
Upcoming Events Near Me is determined by the zip code or country you provided in your profile. Click 'Edit Profile' or 'My Account' to change your settings.

Bookmarks
Instructions for Internet Explorer on Windows ( and other browsers: Firefox, Safari, Opera):
To use Bookmark you need to add two buttons to your browser.
The My Bookmark button will show you all your favorites on the Network.
The Post Bookmark button lets you add a new site to your favorites.
Adding the buttons can be accomplished in three easy steps:
  1. Make sure the "Bookmarks Toolbar" is active.
    Go to the "View > Toolbars" menu and make sure "Links" is checked.
  2. Add the My Bookmark button to your links Toolbar.
    First: right-click the blue "My Bookmark" link above and choose "Add to Favorites".
    Next: Make sure the "Create in" window is open, then choose "Links" and click OK.
  3. Add the Bookmark This button to your links Toolbar.
    First: right-click the blue "Bookmark This" link above and choose "Add to Favorites".
    Click "Yes" if there is a Security Alert.
    Next: Make sure the "Create in" window is open, then choose "Links" and click OK.
That's it!
Now all you have to do to remember a page is click the Bookmark This button on your browser's link bar.
